Break is almost over here. I did decide to play Daybreak 2, but I'll be done with it before too much longer, so I'll likely be getting back to Noblesse sometime this week, I have a few small things I want to do before public release on friday, but some of the biggest adjustments I'd planned, like improving the Avalonia Ruins and Avalonia Highway a bit, visually, will probably get pushed to next time since I ended up doing the longer break this time.

One thing I do plan to do is some adjustments to the early catapult depictions. This will likely include adding an earth sorcerer to the battle on the pass to Calistrae, and a bit of dialog about how the shots are mainly exploding with his help. Otherwise, I want to adjust the sound effects so the catapult shots are just impacting. They were never meant to be exploding in the Riversmeet scene, but I think some clarification is worthwhile since I was recently reading about how often catapult shots are mis-portrayed (and if they were exploding, it would be a big deal in terms of their effect on the walls).

Otherwise, going to wrap that up and get to work on v0.16! Some of the stuff I'd been looking forward to in v0.15 was pushed forward to it, so there should be a lot to look forward to, if not quite as much by way of dramatic revelations. XD

As a last note for today, a creator I follow made a tier list of characters for different attributes recently and I felt like doing my own. Might do other attributes in the coming weeks, but for today, here's my thoughts on political skill. Thoughts are welcome regarding the accuracy etc. XD

I just made aware that there is no Corinna's portrait. No resurrection for her, it seems. I had serious reservations about the A row. The two Dukes doesn't seem to belong there and Somnus' presence looks kind of premature. I'm not sure who the guy to the right of Ligaea is. The distinction between rows C and D are very subtle. Love the idea!

Definitely not, haha. XD Thanks for the thoughts. ^^ I'm inclined to stick with my ranking on the dukes, though. Re: Cleon, he didn't slip up under Antiochus, and while he did slip up by misjudging Alexander, Alexander underestimated him at first too. His major bias/blindspot is against an actually moral person. Moreover, we let him think his play with Phoebe worked, so he didn't get the chance to readjust. Anyone can be lulled into a false sense of security, after all. For Myron, while he did have to burn a fair amount of political capital, let's consider that he -did- manage to politick his way out of having his soldiers directly oppose Antipater. And I'd also argue that it's not like his trade there won him nothing, considering that Antipater now, rightly or wrongly, sees him as someone who will stand on principle. I would say he's fairly effectively hedged his bets with both Antipater and Medea (while pretty successfully manipulating her). Of course, we'll see if that holds up, but this is based on how things are right now. For Somnus: You might find his conversation as room companion in Redstone interesting. I was considering putting him on B, but it didn't really feel right after that. Arguably, his decision not to prematurely involve himself in too much is itself good politics (building trust by not overreaching his position), and I'd say his 50 loyalty skill conversation is also pretty indicative of strong political skill. Alexander isn't someone easily tempted. XD Re: C/D: Fair, but mediocre does mean "middling/average," not "bad." It's just often used in a more insulting way than what it actually means since being average isn't impressive and is often contrasted with being good. The unfamiliar guy is Xinthos from Hypernia. Glad you enjoyed it!
