First of all I don't see shyness a female's trait. Shyness... it's just shyness can be in all genders. Jungkook is rather shy like a child, like a baby. His androgynous beauty is apart from that, it's present even when he is dominant and sexy ^^ And well there's no "woman" in male gay relationships, what exactly means bottom? it's just a sexual position or receiving.
