I ordered a i9-10980XE but got a i9-10920X 😤

When ordering expensive items from Amazon or Newegg make sure the item you received matches the one you ordered. This [👆] happens to me a lot. So I imagine the average Joe, is getting ripped off all the time. Either on purpose or by accident, and never notices because the item looks the same.

Double check your orders my friends. Delay will be another week due to this BS.

Be safe,

That's not the 33% off people want, 12 instead of 18 cores. May I ask why not Ryzen? looks like the Ryzen 9 5950x next month is gonna be fast. I take it you're gonna go (dual) RTX-3090?

I use nvidia graphics so I use intel processors. I have cross branded using AMD with Nvidia. When it comes 3D rendering in Daz3D, blender and Maya Intel works better, I think its just partner ships the companies have to add features. Like how Adobe is friends with Nvidia and supports RTX features same with Daz3d and Nvidia. As for the 3090's not yet I'm waiting for a ti version or Titan RTX "3100?" Let Nvidia make the money on the people jumping at the first release I will wait for the Titan. Its like Iphones you buy the newest best one and they put out anyone a month later that has you kicking yourself for buying the first new release.

Ok, makes sense. I personally am going to wait till next year when DDR5 comes out and go with 16 core Zen3+ or Zen4 whichever supports it and maybe Quadro RTX A5000 if its affordable.

Nice, I think the best card for the money is a quadro Rtx 4000 to 8000. I’m linking 2 in my Xeon rig under my titan X’s

Use online rendering farms

The RTX A5000 is basically a RTX 3090 at 250W instead of 370W, I hope it will cost around €2000, otherwise I'll get the RTX 3090. I don't think there will be a Ti or titan, unless they can get it made on 7nm TSMC.

I don't use render farms because one image only takes a 1 to 2 minutes for my computers.

Dang, that is big suck. Not the good kind of big suck either. I think Intel's naming scheme is partially to blame though, lol.

Yeah why is it always a less expensive item. Its never an item worth $200 more than what I purchased. That's the only reason I think its suspicious.
