Ultimate Immersion v2.9 update news Forge + (Fabric?) [1.16.5] (Patreon)

Hey guys, I'll be leaving on a holiday first time in a year and a half almost for a good week, so this next update may be a bit delayed (or not at all). I'm going to visit my friends in Finland. 

That's why I already worked up front quite a lot and this month I want to bring you some interior decoration assets like plant pots, some plants etc. These are really hard to make if I want to make them look good so I'll be very selective when it comes to plant type. I'm planning to mostly focus on different types of grasses and simple leafy plants due to Minecraft's limitations. I'm planning different types of pots as well and each plant model with two height placement states so you can use same plants around the house on the ground. Furthermore I'm planning to make these plants randomizing position a bit to result in more natural variation.

I've also been working on the existing grass a bit to make POM normals as you see in the GIF above. It's looking really good unless you zoom in, but I believe that shader is responsible for the really fine and tiny shadows that are not rendered very accurately on a very close zoom. From a normal player view it looks great however, so further shader improvements should improve the overall quality of the grass as well.

This month I've also been spending a lot of time on another project which will be much greater than UI Archviz mod from what I envisioned. I will progressively be spending more and more time on that as it evolves and I can guarantee you guys will love it. I will not say anything else until it's almost ready but just to give you a heads up I'm constantly thinking to evolve and find better solutions.
