Hi guys. I know we miss Joric. But it’s painful to hear comments like, “The Ridleys is not The Ridleys anymore” questions like, “Is The Ridleys over?” or suggestions like, “Ibalik niyo na lang si Joric please.”

There’s a lot of things that happen behind-the-scenes. But Bryant, Jan, Modi, and I have been working our asses off the past months, even years, to make sure the band continues to make songs and connect with the audience. Think about it.

I don’t regret giving Joric credit where credit is due. I don’t regret working on the band so that it became sustainablw for all members, including him. I don’t regret involving him in our story, of which he is still a part But for the love of God, our story is not solely dependent on him. The Ridleys is still The Ridleys because, Benny, Bryant, Jan are still here, writing songs and looking for ways to improve our live performances. Ate Modi is still here. Our crew is still here. The Ridleys is beyond all of us. Heck, even if I leave, The Ridleys will still be The Ridleys, and will continue to be so as long as people remember us. You’re all still here.

The Ridleys is not dead. Far from it. I understand the initial grief, but we hope real listeners understand that there are some unnecessary comments that just discourage us.

Hay.

We will continue supporting you guys! It is inevitable for Joric to choose which band to prioritize naman kasi. But The Ridleys will always be The Ridleys because of your songs, how your songs resonates with us. Padayon lang ❤️✨❤️✨ labyu guyssss

You get it! And we’re not “less” of a band because he chose another. He will always be part of the band’s story, but the story doesn’t end with him leaving.
