This is a messy album not arranged by theme, but by chronology. It shows the development of my journey with God in real time. It shows the contrast of what I "should" feel versus what I really feel. The album ends with The Day the World Paused, a song with no God mentioned anywhere, except through suggestion ("humbled by eternal sleep," implying that there is an agent Who humbles).

It shows God & Grief in real time, and deals with how messy one's faith journey really is. Some parts worship, other parts lament.

I will approach production similar to how City and Colour did it: acoustic at the core, then add instruments if necessary. Some songs will be just me and guitar, while others will have instruments as needed.
