This level of interactivity and conversational style of video reminds me of 2007 era YouTube community. It makes me wonder what replaced currency then, because something did.

I Googled it but I haven't reached an understanding after five seconds and there are reddit threads and YouTube videos I'd rather attend to... mayhaps you could briefly explain what the "Carousel of Progress" is? Seems like a Disney ride of some sort.

Yeah it's a Disney attraction/show created in the 60's. It summarizes the evolution of technology up until that point and made a few predictions about the future, a lot of which came true. (HDTV's, voice activated appliances, Virtual reality)
