IT'S HAPPENING

This is going to be a really long video; I was hesitant to cut it here when I haven't gotten all the way through the story, but I wanted to post the preview up tonight and it felt like a natural stopping point.

I've been excited to do a Beastly video for a long time! It's one of my favorites.

Did the dad have just one bullet? He killed a guy to save himself. What's one more to save his daugther? It's not like police would treat them as different murders and have twice the staffing on the case... Just rented Beastly and I must say it's the best $2.99 I've ever spent!!! Was hoping for a sequel with the intern at the end lol. Can't wait for the rest of Jenny's take on the move!

I actually had no idea this was an actual movie. I remember seeing a commercial or something for it and I swear I though it was a commercial for a new CW show. Its worse than I could ever imagine!

Hunter had literally jumped in harm's way to protect Lindy, run off with her unconscious body, and then ran back *toward* gunfire to *ask her father's permission* to occupy the same building. Maurice had made a lot of bad choices, but trusting that Hunter would be honorable wasn't one of them.

You know, for a "bad" movie it never once felt like a drag while watching it. Biggest reaction from me was when she said the phrase that no guy likes to hear at the train station. Oof, right in the ol' heart! I'm looking forward to the video even more now.

Imo those are the best bad movies... ones that still move at a consistent enough pace to not become boring. It's also why I favor more recently-made movies for bad-movie-watches. I think especially a lot of B-movies from the 80s and earlier can have really excruciating long stretches in the middle

The only thing that would have made this a better bad movie is a Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton cameo. If they did that, I'd be shelling out that big $7.49 to Amazon for the blu ray.

I'm not sure I can even call it "bad," because it's well structured, well shot, and well paced, more pleasant to have on in the background than a lot of the fancy movies I've seen lately. Can we add a rating, "Not Profound"?

It is kind of missing the mark. He's not even all that "beastly". He looks like any other dumb-ass kid in my hood who thinks getting a face tatt is a good idea. That leaves him two possible vocations, auto mechanic or musician. If I were in Kyle's shoes, I'd change my name to something uber-cool, like Cutlass, or Napalm, or even Beastly for that matter. Learn how to play guitar and start a band. It doesn't keep Post Malone from getting girls.

Hmm... yeah... Beastly. You know what's a good movie? Disney's The Country Bears. It's got the best line I ever heard in a movie, and I use it all the time. "Over yonder, a monkey!"
