I see that the halloween costumes vote is currently winning by a lot for the ramble video, so I've ordered some supplies to work with. You guys are lucky I make so many halloween costumes

Maybe the Knights of Ren are not a group of menacing warriors at all. Maybe they're like the Star Wars equivalent of a bowling team. But it's a Star Wars kind of bowling and called something different and Star Warsie. Like porgling. Yeah, that's it. They release a bunch of porgs in a long pen, resembling an alley. The porgling players try to knock down as many as they can with some sort of cool hovering ball, maybe like the remote Luke was practicing with on the Millennium Falcon in episode 4. It's great fun and the Knights of Ren are the best porgling team in the First Order.

Seriously, I hope they're Kylo's old Sith metal band from when he was a teenager. Maybe General Hux was the drummer. I can see him grousing to Kylo Ren, "You changed, man! It used to be about the music!"

Blue Corn

The Knights of Ren are the Ewoks who came across Vader's burnt outfit. They did a dark ritual and tried re-animating him. Something went wrong, altering their appearance. Now they follow Kylo Ren around, because his smell is similar to Vader's taint. Eh, they're just Kylo's entourage.
