Hey all! Here's a preview of the next video I'm doing, on the Christmas Prince series, which I'm hopingggg to have done by Christmas so it can still be relevant.

(Apologies that the cursory edits on the ramble keep taking a backseat to this since this is a vid whose editing kind of carries an inherent deadline. This will teach me to pick time-sensitive topics)

The final vid will probably clock in at about a half hour! Ideally I'll be able to drop it christmas morning like a gift from santa claus

I've been bingeing on Hallmark movies this past week and you're right, The Christmas Prince series is a lot darker than the stake-less schmaltz (which I still love, btw!) that make up those standard stories. Definitely going to have to schedule a re-watch after your video drops.

it's a xmas miracle! now i'll have to check out the christmas prince series, esp since rose mciver from izombie stars in it. i loves me some hallmark/netflix romcoms. and i just love jenny in a beret. she always makes the best hat choices. thank you jenny for the early xmas gift!

One of my favorite parts is when Moore goes “undercover” at that dive bar she just wears the same outfit she was wearing the whole movie plus large sunglasses.

My actual hope is that, since every supporting cast member seemed to find love at the royal wedding, we will be treated to a movie that is just focused on one wedding after another. Amber is supposed to be matron of honor in ALL of them, and it’s really stressing her out because obviously the Royal Baby is on its way and she’ll probably be in active labor by the time the final wedding rolls around six months from now, so, after defeating whatever villain is set up in the first act, everyone agrees to one, giant group wedding to be held at the palace on Christmas Day, naturally.

Whoa, the preview is still the most recent post even though the real thing has been out for around two hours now. It was a really great video, I'm glad it happened. As someone who hadn't seen the movie, the reveal that Jenny's outfit pretty much exactly matched the main character's from the second movie was a highlight for me, and also the Pandora bracelet. I haven't gone back to check if that was introduced when it was mentioned or if it was there the whole time and I only just noticed, but either way it's fantastic. This is clearly worth any delays to the ramble.

Fun fact: apparently Aldovia is the name of a “hotel” in Colorado... I put it in quotes because it just looks like a house... it’s on google maps. What if Amber is in a coma or is delusional and just in this house, unable to leave, so she makes up a kingdom to escape her reality.
