So someone on twitter mentioned dany as an apologizing youtuber and after last night's episode I wanted to make it happen.

This wasn't planned and as you can tell by when the ep it's referring to went out, I just made it in the day it would still be relevant, so that's the only reason this one didn't get a preview! Its production timeline was just like a 4 hour turnaround.

My other longer (planned) videos are still in progress.

Oh and GoT spoilers of course!

Daenerys would like to set the record straight. Vlogger morghulis. How will you make sure everyone knows you’re sorry on youtube? Say that you didn’t want to make this video - https://www.patreon.com/JennyNicholson Discuss what you’re apologizing for vaguely enough that most people still don’t really know by the end of the video - https://twitter.com/JennyENicholson Wear a fashion item to indicate you’re a dressed-down and less-produced version of yourself, such as a plain hoodie, or glasses if you do not normally wear glasses - https://www.instagram.com/spider_jewel/ Mention that people are getting mad at your family to reframe it so that the people who are mad at you are worse than whatever thing you did to make them mad - https://spiderjewel.tumblr.com/ Work an ad for your healthy hair gummies into your hour-long video selling your friend down the river for not promoting your healthy hair gummies, during which you cite many legitimate grievances, but fail to address why none of these things were a dealbreaker until the exact point at which your friend promoted competing healthy hair gummies - https://www.facebook.com/JennyNicholsonVids/

Are those fake mid roll ads because if so congrats on being the funniest person alive

Joshua Cram

Don’t forget to ring the bell - GENIUS. She does it again.

Hannah S.

Is this a GoT parody of James Charles' (super super fake) apology video?! ahahahahahah I stand a low-key beauty gossip girl lol (1 minute into the video, yeah it definitely isXD)

James Murphy

This was hilarious. I’m glad you were inspired to create it!

Lawrence Whiteside

This needs to be on your YouTube channel!

I stopped watching Game Of Thrones when Sean Bean died (I don't even know who Veris is), but this was amusing. "... making mistakes ... and burning people *at* stakes ..." "... disappointed, or incinerated...".

Daniel Staniforth

I read the books years before the show came out, same with LoTR. This has nothing to do with the video but I make sure I force it into conversation now and then.

Boartails

this video immediately garnered 7 academy awards for hair

Steve Ray

Have you read "And Seven Times Never Kill Man!"? Or "Men of Greywater Station"? Let *those* inform your potential predictions...

Snail

Guys, remind me to watch this when I get caught up on the new season.

Alex Butler

I keep seeing the thumbnail and thinking it's a Poppy video.

Greg McDaniel

Look, there's no way she could've known peasants were that flammable.

Dee Crosier

I'm all up-to-date on "GoT" but not on YouTube apology videos, so I had to Google that part afterwards... even so, there were plenty solid jokes in there that anyone could appreciate ("Mistakes/stakes" being one of many standouts)... and your close-to-tears-acting was totally on-point. I felt genuinely concerned/sad for your fictional parody character in those moments, so kudos for the pathos!

Kevin Breen

I haven't watched GOT but I got and enjoyed your parody. My favorite lines were "he's a pile of ash now" and "everyone that I disappointed or incinerated". : )

Greg McDaniel

There's a petition now to get HBO to remake season 8. And, you know what? I signed it. Not because I want it to happen, but because sometimes, I just want to watch the world burn.

Steve Ray

You already got to see the world burn with the original version.

Greg McDaniel

I’m Dany. I’m Dany. I’m Dany. I am Dany.

1000thghost

It's ok. The first step to an redemption arc is to say your sorry. (tip to Kylo)

Your take is definitely an outlier. It was pretty awful. Episode 2 was the best episode of that season. Arya's ending makes basically no sense, Greyworm's actions make basically no sense, where do all the Dothraki keep coming from, why the heck would the Lords of Westeros agree to Bran as king when they don't even know who he is, why would Sansa want to secede when her own brother is the dang king, why would the Iron Isles and Dorne not also want independence, why is Bronn the master of coin when a few seasons ago he didn't even know what a loan was (also as much as I enjoyed the character in past seasons, his interruptions in the final episode were trash, "the strong live the weak die" what the heck was that)... I could go on.

Steve Ray

The entire thing *was* Children of the Forest -- they sent mysterious dreams to Bran so he'd head north and visit their Magic Brainwashing Tree, and after that, his old personality was *gone*...and instead he talks about being Not-Bran, and does little things that make humans on Westeros become dead....the exact purpose the Night King had been created for...weird how Bran and the Night King never actually *fought*....they just agreed to meet in the garden.

Steve Ray

GRRM loves misdirection, ambiguity, and writing stories that make sense the second or third time you read them, so I think this ending is very true to the author's intent, or at least to his style.
