Hi Lindsay, thank you for your interest in my comment! While I can't remember what exactly was going in on my head three years ago when I (probably high at the time) made this comment, I do recall that I was aware of the mane joke of the video. I suspect that the joke (a poor one, I admit) I was going for here was not to do with the preposition, but the indefinite article, suggesting that Ms. Nicholson ought to have erroneously referred to it as "an blizzard" rather than "a blizzard," though if this was my intent, then I should have used the same improper preposition, I acknowledge. I hope that this response alleviates confusion, so that there is no more enmity between us, friend

The Rose Tico stuff at this point was expected and sadly not unusual. What happened was a bunch of people calling her racist for backing up Bailey's callout of John Boyega for being pretty sexist in a comment about Finn and Rey and then refusing to back down from that position and even escalating from there. Apparently that was enough for some idiots to declare that it was time to start cancelling, so they went back and dug stuff up all the way back to the MLP:FiW days. They didn't even find anything substantial through all that, either, but they were persistent and loud enough that her account went protected for a day.
