Here are our submitted topics for this month!

As always you may vote for as many as you like; the topic with the highest total votes wins.

Comments

Scooby-Dum

I hope you get to talk about Lady Bird at some point, because it’s been on the list for ages now, and I’m really eager to hear what you have to say

gabie

i NEED the anthropomorphic car ramble... just picture the judgement of all those bad cars

Mariayuri Kumagae

I want Jenny rambling about Anthropomorphic Cars so bad god please

Tony M Parker

So many good topics. If Anthropomorphic Cars doesn’t win, I hope it becomes a main video.

Derik Saari

I vote Lady Bird every month knowing it won’t win

Steve Ray

This month we're lucky Jenny outlawed voting for meta-Rambles and combined topics, because that could have resulted in "Ranking Lady Bird & Anthropomorphic Car Movies," and that would turn Jenny into a car/bird-rater, and nobody should just be a car/bird-rater, because a car/bird-rater isn't enough -- you also need a gas tank and windshield wipers and an engine and wheels. If you're only a car/bird-rater, then you're a Bad Car.

Chelsea Margaret Cole

The whole "you're a bad car" bit genuinely creeped me out, while also making me laugh

Fitzrove

The Twilight: The Musical & other cameos intrigues me since I only recently pledged - and did so because I discovered FiW and Twilight and wanted to get the bonus video of Jenny covering a pony song! (The rambles are a bonus too :D) If only I had the suggesting power I would ask where she learned to sing so well and whether she still sings as a private hobby.

Kyolud

I am way too curious to hear the hunger game strategy!

Yami Shaggy

I voted for like 6 of them, but I really hope the Annual Pass Retrospective wins, that sounds really interesting.

Taylor Calloway

These are all pretty good but BOY do I hope the hunger games one wins

Beck Dodd

Me too, I'm really curious about what she has to say about it but my hopes are still crushed every single month

Rachel Adelson

man I know it’s not going to win but Last Train To Blue Moon Canyon was my second favorite Nancy Drew game when I was a kid 😭

Tomás AF

Hey Jenny if you’re not already planning to be on it you should be on Escape this Podcast

Katey Koch

Nancy Drew is what I am hoping for but there are so many other good choices this month.

Olivia

Theme parks forever!!!!!!

Anna HJ

Many great topics here. I hope to one day be able to afford the $25 subscription so that I can suggest “Jenny Pitches Nathan For You Business Ideas”

Kinetics Video

Hunger Games! I need your strats! I'm so bad at things!

Riley O'Neill

I really just wanna hear you talk about music you like... but poll after poll it becomes more and more clear that it just won't happen. 😔

Alex Wilk

the funny thing about these polls is that even if the thing that wins isnt something i wanted the ramble will still end up being 10/10

christian moses holtz

for me that was particularly true last month. never heard of the web comic series, checked it out and hated it for many the same reasons that jenny eventually criticized it for. that was quite the welcome surprise.

Leah

So many of these are good topics nooooo

AngieAnxiousBean

The horse girl in me wants horse breed rankings but the Jenny Nicholson fan in me wants to know how we could all win the hunger games 🥺

Hayley Penso

Dang ya’ll came out with the DANK topics this month

Shaun Cheah

Ranking the Rambles: We've Seen The Master Post, Now It's Time for the Numbered List

Rushka Unverricht

There's good variety in this month's poll! I ended up voting for more topics than I usually do. It isn't likely given the votes as they stand, but it would be intriguing to see what movie Jenny would pick if the classic noir film topic were to win.

Shred Cadmium

I feel like we're perhaps missing a trick in not calling it Jenny NicholCon

Steve Ray

Can ordinary numbers be used to rank themselves, or do we have to use Harvard Science?

Luis

Sounds like a heist movie

Shred Cadmium

Nice. That can be on the list for next month. "Nicholcean's Eleven: Jenny's team & strategy for ripping off the MGM Grand" 🎰💰💰

AngieAnxiousBean

Clydesdale - most sponsors and they’re big beefy muscle horses.

AngieAnxiousBean

OR out of left field, the retired dancing Lipizzaner with a single wealthy benefactor. He could pull through with his creativity and nimble dancing strats.

AngieAnxiousBean

A great dungeons and dragons player character name.

Sifferz

Checked like 4 and then unchecked them all but the AP toast bc I need this

Steve Ray

I had to look it up, but ordinal numbers are the kind used in Numbered Lists (!). According to MathIsFun.com, "'In this 6-car race, Car Number "99" (with the yellow roof) is in 1st position': 6 is a Cardinal Number (it tells how many) 1st is an Ordinal Number (it tells position) '99' is a Nominal Number (it is basically just a name for the car)"

Shaun Cheah

You sonuvabitch, I'm in.

Olivia

Has anyone ever watched Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse???? (raquel forever)

Ben M Davies

I will keep voting for Ladybird until it never happens.

Gina Kim

fingers crossed for jenny to mush theme park ramble and ap rant together

who is counting

thanks for this insight Im off to look at theses horsies

AppleSnaps

No one embodies eternal hope in the face of near impossible odds like the Lady Bird crew.

Jerry Nicholson

We're small in number but we're passionate. We'll win others to our cause.

Sydney Horses

horse breed tier list PLEASE unless you hate morgans in which case i do not need your opinion

Ariadne L

Strong feelings that we will get twelve words on hunger games and an hour on AP. Plz plz plz plz plz

Charlie Hills

Gosh, I voted for seven this month 😳

Charlie Hills

I assume it's for the film and not the former First Lady. Will she fix the story? Critique it? Act it out? With spiders? Give us another conspiracy theory corkboard? I'm sure I'd be more inclined to vote for it, would that I possessed more details.

Mary Veazey

Exactly 😭 its one of the best ones

Joe Cumbo

oop i forgot to send in my topic but rest assured Semi Homemakers, Sandra Lee will return!

Jerry Nicholson

She'll ramble, ie say whatever she wants about the movie. I can't ask her to fix the story because I don't know if she thinks it needs fixing.

Alex Waagen

Hunger games strategy is compelling in theory but I am worried it will start out "These are user submitted so I don't really have a great strategy but...."

Steve Ray

If the Lady Bird crew pledged fealty to the Coalition, dreams would become reality.

Steve Ray

...in Colorado, or Humboldt County!

Jerry Nicholson

Fellow Patrons, I doubt I'll be changing anyone's mind this month, but for upcoming topic polls consider that the planned live action Barbie movie will be directed by Greta Gerwig, the writer/director of Lady Bird. You can get a primer on her work and her style from Wikipedia, IMDb, or some boring nerd like me. OR. You can get some preliminary info about Greta Gerwig from YouTuber Jenny Nicholson. Wouldn't that be a nice frame of mind to be in as you sit down for a Barbie movie? (If it ever gets made, RIP Hollywood)

AM

How did I not know this was a thing- I’m unironically hyped for this

Steve Ray

Maybe we can enjoy bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch while we watch, so we can have Shrimps On The Barbies!
