Here is the 2nd chunk of the Evermore video! I was going to include the following two "parts" as well but they're currently being looked over by some lawyers because, you know, that's where we're at lol. But anticipate another preview before long

If you're just joining us, here is Preview 1 to watch first!

Files

evermore parts 5 and 6 preview

bingo bango

i gotta say, i am very expectant for your next video, not based on content or quality, but just because its been a while and i CRAVE you explaining something in great detail that i dont know anything about

bingo bango

im new to your patreon, are these previews spoilers for the full video? if i dont want repetition, should i wait for the full youtube release?

Winona Honey

You know a video is going to be REALLY good when lawyers have to look over it beforehand. Looking forward to hearing “allegedly” get dubbed over half the final cut.

Jenny Nicholson

Yes they're basically clips of the beginning of a video, and longer videos get multiple clips released in order until the full thing is out. So for people that don't like viewing things in parts they're spoilers

bingo bango

right on, thanks! good night jenny!

Clouds in the Sky

Wait you should probably upload the preview from the cooler jenny channel and not from the main one so it won't get accidentally leaked/public

Jenny Nicholson

As covered in Part 8: [REDACTED] there's a precedent for the owner filing ill-advised lawsuits, which he might do anyway but I want to make sure I'm not making myself an easy target

bingo bango

unrelated: if the buzzy mystery is solved will you make a video about it? you are my only source for theme park information and ive become very emotionally invested in your boy

Jenny Nicholson

Idk if I'd do a follow-up video! The explanation would have to be as interesting as the mystery and the answer is probably just "somebody bought it"

bingo bango

as long as you are okay with leaving questions open ended canonically in the jenny nicholson cinematic universe. eventually you might have to reference it and you cant reference a thing you havent resolved, thats bad writing jenny

Jenny Nicholson

I like to see how previews are doing with monetization standing and the 2nd channel doesn't have monetization capability. But fwiw people don't usually bother leaking the previews, at least not in the same way where they make big playlist compilations (and they probably wouldn't bother since the previews become irrelevant when the video comes out)

bingo bango

also, im just saying, its a good excuse for a short video. heres the script: "remember buzzy? someone bought him and it was resolved in court. here are 27 seconds of ads thanks for supporting the channel"

Maeghan

Well that was am auspicious ending.

Reina Woods

Dang Jenny’s doing the shiny-nose look. I do like it. But it does make me feel old. And I’m 30. The end is nigh.

Macy M

Sam Penrod is blinking like no other

Macy M

TyBott?! Someone i went to high school with is in a jenny video?!?

Thomas MacCalman

I got an embarrassingly long way into imagining the park as a medieval plague village before I realised you probably just mean boring real world coronavirus.

Monica McFadden

The _concept_ of this park is so fun, but yeah if I saw a bunch of employees running towards the gates screaming and urging guests to leave, my first thought would not be "Oh boy, a fun, safe, scripted event."

Magical Girl Mel

The worst part is this is something I would likely get really into the lore of if I live close to it, but as someone from the Midwest who would likely only visit once, it’s hard to justify.

Magical Girl Mel

Right, perhaps if you were in like the town center as saw the creepy things rolling up and got the whole experience, but as someone on the periphery when that happened? Absolute panic. I was at a park for an after dark event when a fist fight broke out that was enough to get people freaked and clearing an area. Running and screaming? Yeah, that’ll go reeeeeeeeaaaaal well.

Bryan Sutton

It's been incredibly difficult to not Google anything after you specifically asked us not to, but I'm hanging in there!

Spencer Berry

Great preview and can’t wait to hear about your experience in the park! Wishing the best with the lawyers!

Rushka Unverricht

The park seems like it should be so much fun, at least conceptually. It's a pity it doesn't look like it lived up to its early promise. And I would definitely be concerned if people at a park started running by me shouting and yelling like in the clips, especially after dark! When Jenny says to laugh after the Lore joke I started half heartedly laughing at the screen. Then when she said "that's long enough", I sort of self consciously shut up lol.

Luis

Thanks for all your hard work hope this means you can sneak off to the movies now for a little break!

Mire

Thanks for the update! This is a minor issue but from 2:28 to 2:36 your vocals sound distorted and echo-y, like they're going through a weird sound filter.

Julie Adams

so what i've learned as a security guard watching these updates is that being a security guard at evermore must be a NIGHTMARE

Spencer Hastings

While the whole unclear storylines isn’t good for visitors it would be so cool if there was one weekday night only season long passholders could enter and have their own ongoing storylines. And like form their own characters. Just the most expensive dnd / rp group ever.

Deanna

That honestly sounds like such a cool concept, from what I've heard the execution is bad but I'm rooting for them tbh

IHateBerwald

“Plague comes to Evermore” ‘cut to black’ I hope this is the ending of the actual video

Sideshow Bob Stepping On Rakes

Not gonna lie, as just a concept the evacuating the park as the creatures attack seemed really cool to me. Actually executing it is probably so problematic safety-wise I don't think it could actually be done safely, but the footage had me hype lol.

MW

The christmas clips with cast members wearing masks was so jarring

Jerry Nicholson

I hope Amazon is paying you for that product placement

AK Barratt

So fascinating, and it really does remind me of HHN in times past. At least at the Orlando event, there have been elaborate ARGS and website updates to get guests excited about the lore and even existing IP houses were incorporated into one overarching theme under an icon character. But the event still has to work on a "normie" level so people who show up on the day of the event and just want to drink Jello shots and get scared aren't confused. I do wonder if Universal largely phased out these experiences because it was too difficult to manage that kind of multi-layered event at that large of a scale. But seems to me like a park the size of Evermore should be able to pull that off with less difficulty.

Matthew Child

I am on tinterhooks to find out why you're being so cautious. So far, it's a very interesting story of a overly ambitious theme park that didn't really pull off the execution, but I just gotta know what happens to make you bring in lawyers.

Veronica Williams

Yeah I would probably think there was a shooting happening or something; I think I'd start crying lol

T. Fazekas

When a thing is cursed it’s generally two causes, the first is an innocent child is bedeviled by an evil witch. The second is a unwitting agro-bro dunked on the wrong person. This feels like the latter….

T. Fazekas

I’ve seen content on this place and holding it to Disney standards is unrealistic, holding it to Six Flags standards is unrealistic, holding it to the standards of the second-year of an annual regional Ren Faire is unrealistic.

Rachel Cook

Can’t wait to see the whole thing! My 18 month old has been obsessed with hats lately so she loved your hat, and she cheered with you when the gamer lights came on.

Shiny Skunk

all of this is reminding me a lot of my LARPing days, i had a lot of similar issues with not knowing all of the deep lore and being very confused about what was going on at any given time. All of this seems so so fun in theory and kind of a mess in execution.

Thomas Hartwell

The thing about "previews" in theatre is they've been a standard tradition since...like, the 20's? Because in order to know if a show is working or not, you need an audience to provide a reaction, even if it's an especially negative one. That sort of thing with a theme park is just.....yeah that's not really gonna work (also it used to be standard to open a show outside of New York as a pre-Bway tryout, where the majority of changes would happen, but iirc Spider-Man decided to do its previews all in NYC, which is historically almost always a disastrous move).

Mouskemeg

This is so bittersweet. I lived right down the road from evermore when it opened and was still living there for a few years before we moved, and I was so excited to go…but all of my family and friends who went were so “meh” about it. I always meant to go and just never got around to it…I guess I still can because I still live locally but if I didn’t go when I was a two minute drive away I don’t know if it will happen now haha

Mimosa

This is so interesting already! I was genuinely squirming at that final cut to black/cliffhanger! I think this video has high re-watch potential! The costumes are also really beautiful (just wanted to let that be known)

Dan Gibbins

"Wonder what kind of night I'll get" was delightful foreshadowing. Eager to see where that goes.

Gussie Ruck

i’m so curious as to what could have possibly gone so wrong that you need lawyers to look over the footage. so far it just seems like a overly complex and poorly executed, although rather intriguing nonetheless, theme park :)

Gussie Ruck

i hate to say it but the sheer random element of the lore reminds me a lot of the way the dream smp operates LOL.

SweetAlissum

That 'night Evermore went dark' is the most ill advised thing I've ever seen. After there was a shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival of all places, I don't feel safe anywhere, so I would have been traumatized if I were there. It really doesn't seem that hard to make a say, weekly, monthly, etc schedule of big events so people can at least plan to come to them, and also not be blind sided with terror. I really want to like Evermore as a concept so I am rooting for them to figure it out, but boy.

Alyssa Senne

I am super curious on what your experience ended up being. The fluctuation of what you could get is just bonkers.

Sabrina de la Garza

This is such a good point— and the idea of making a scheduled “big event” happen regularly is so smart. Like, if you’re a family with elderly people or young kids or maybe just want something nice and simple, you would be able to look at a calendar and see which days are normal and go then. And if you’re a teen or someone who wants crazy exciting stuff, you can see on the calendar when that will happen. The “night evermore went dark” could have been a secret scheduled event that maybe was just “rated for mature guests” or something. So they wouldn’t give away the secret, but people could know going in that there was going to be something scary

T. Fazekas

My favorite character in the park is the “You Should Have Been Here Last Night” guy. He sits by the entrance and tempers your expectations by regaling you with yarns of the revelry and frolics that occur every time you aren’t there. His name, Quasifomo

Mouskemeg

Honestly I was picturing what I would do if I were there with my kids and people started screaming and running to the exit and I think I would probably have a full blown panic attack at the least. Did no one say, "hey boss let's rethink" like...at all?

Mouskemeg

If I had known you were going to be in the area before I was a patron (lol) I would have recommended Lagoon for a day. It's the largest family owned amusement park in the US, it's just owned by some random Utah family and it has musical entertainment, an authentic pioneer village, and a couple of bizarre haunted dark rides. I spent every summer as a child absolutely refusing to go on Terroride and yet ending up on it anyway. Look at the ridiculous green-face lady on the top right of the banner on this page. This is what horror is made of. http://www.lagoonpark.com/ride/terroride/

Shaun Cheah

They hand you plague doctor bird masks at the gate, the beaks are so long that you physically have to be six feet apart to have a face-to-face conversation.

Shaun Cheah

Fantastic taste, a clear sign of a good upbringing.

FOMO? YAGNI! Edit: Yagni and Lacey are the guards outside the tavern. Yagni tells you how Quasifomo is embellishing and it was a lot more realistic. Lacey tells you about cities in WA State.

Steve Ray

That is a good website.

FauxRetro

Loved the preview! Hilariously though, my dog saw the big spider and began growling and barking every time it was on screen. Doesn’t know how to respect a good plush, I guess.

Tiffany Clark

TyBott was one of my few sources of joy during my tiktok phase of quarantine

James Peeler

I can't wait to see the full thing!!

Conor

god this is great. love the "binder full of theme park maps, a totally normal thing to have" i laughed out loud

Michael Harle

EverFraught. I mean... Christ, this is Westworld-level ambition on a Dinoland USA budget staffed by LARPers.

Michael Harle

Probably not in the majority here, but this is actually why I love Universal Orlando. Every time I go, I try to cosplay for the area I plan to spend most of my time in, and the staff never fail to reward me with involved, entertaining interactions. I've been in wand battles with Death Eaters... been behind-the-scenes at the dino-hatcing... and been mistaken for an employee multiple times. Even wearing a birthday pin there was a real treat. Great spot for teens and adults looking for that magic of character interactions that Disney (rightfully) reserves for the kids. In theory, I'd love Evermore, but even the clips of the actors you showed made me *cringe* in a way that Disney and Universal actors never make me do.
