The Ritual: Updates and Life Stuff... (Patreon)

So this is obviously where we take the time to update y'all on the Ritual, but we have to clear some stuff up first...

IRL Shenanigans:

Doggo Surgeries - One of my dogs - my youngest, in fact - has just finished going through not one major surgery, but two. he had to have an infected tooth removed, and while under anesthesia, it was determined by the vets that he also had not one, but two cataracts in his eyes, explaining his, well...rapid-onset-near-total-blindness...

The good news was that the dental surgery was largely inexpensive. Sadly, the eye surgery was not. The other good news is that both of his eyes accepted the artificial lenses, and are so far on the road to full recovery! The other bad news is that it's gonna be weeks until he doesn't require round-the-clock observation and care, so that's definitely gonna cut into Sneak's bonus time to work on personal projects like The Ritual.

Sneak's Back....Issues - At the start of October, I hurt something in my back that hasn't been fully diagnosed yet. After X-Rays, doctors at least determined I'd fractured my Thoracic spine, specifically T5-T7. I've been attending physical therapy since, and still about about 4-5 weeks left to go. It certainly doesn't help that my work posture hasn't always been the best, but we've got a new chair, and are taking steps to keep myself on the mend. Sadly, it's just gonna mean more time has to be prioritized for my health, but I'm confident we'll make it through to the other side!

In Sickness and Health - On top of literally everything else, I've come down with a head cold, starting literally last night, which is just gonna complicate everything mentioned above for the next week or so, but hopefully that's gonna be the least of our problems moving forward.

What We DO Have!

Cutscene Start - We at least got one of the major Ritual cutscenes finished for Chapter 2! As we said before, this chapter's focus is Kashka, so it makes sense she's next on the chopping block! Check out a sneak preview of her, attached!

That's sadly all for now. We're hoping to be incresing productivity as time goes on, but I'll do my best to keep yall informed! Thanks for sticking with us, the best is yet to come!

Don't forget to follow the Twitter, Discord, and Picarto to see what we're up to, as we're getting up to it!  Stay devious!
