Hi all! Excited to announce our first of what we hope is many movie clubs! This Sunday, March 30th, at 8pm eastern, Rhiannon and Michael will be on a zoom discussing the films of Denis Villeneuve, definitely will be talking about Arrival, a favorite for both, as well as Incendies, Enemy, Sicario, Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049, Dune 1 and 2. We will also be discussing some of Villeneuve's influences, like Krzysztof Kieślowski's 3 Colors Trilogy and Ingmar Bergman's Through a Glass Darkly. We will be joined by fellow Villeneuve fan and stonks boy George Pearkes. Hope to see you there!

I mean, Blade Runner 2049, is dreadfully depressing, heavy on green-screen techniques; the original Blade Runner is profound, and amusing!! The original Blade Runner's loyal success helped save The Bradbury Building (?spelling) in downtown Los Angeles, one of LA's greatest constructions.

I was wondering why there were probably no artists or film makers on this conversation thread and then I realized that this movie night is for "Archenemies," being a Patreon supporter is not enough, us artists are cheapskates, and we haven't coughed up enough cash to 5-to-4 to join the party. This is what happens when lawyers try to speak about art. ( I like lawyers, I live in San Francisco, so I am on my second eviction fight and I am grateful for the assistance of my legal consul. )
