Dev Log & Vote Suggestions for April Rewards (Patreon)

Important Stuff

Hey guys, you know what time it is; dev log time and we got a lot of stuff to announce today!!

I’ll start with the important stuff first as usual, and then start heading into wips and other various tidbits. If you missed it, we got two bonus models that were commissioned and are available now in the welcome package of the rewards. You can find the current reward post here. Once I get them uploaded and approved by MMF, I will sync them to the libraries as well.

First up is the overdue paint contest winner, MrAlknair’s OC Scarlett. This monster milf is a fey infused insectoid with bio-robotic features shielding an eldritch terror at her core. Abandoned to a pocket fey dimension until a satyr stirred her domain with tales of his travels, warming her core, she would leave the fey to be with the satyr to be wed. On the day of their wedding, her love sundered by a cursed wurm tooth, she sacrificed parts of her body in an attempt to save him and her stomach consumed by the void of her love lost. Now broken and mutilated, forever seeks to save her love across all dimensions and timelines.

Secondly, we have some fanart of the water demon from the Taiwanese animated series “Brave” based on their popular comic of the same name. The commissioner insisted on sharing with everyone to help bring notice to this show, so if you got a Netflix account, I implore you to check it out!

WIPS

For the Fran model, I just need to finish up her armor before posing and cutting but I wanted to get the wip shots out on time for you all on time.

I will have some mini previews within the coming week, but the focus right now is on Fran and making sure she is pure perfection. I have a fond love for FF12 (and the series in general), and I want to make sure it’s done some justice.

Voting Suggestions

As stated earlier this year, as a result of the feedback surveys, we’re going to be having an Artist’s Choice month, and I decided on May being the month of choice. I decided I wanted to do something a little different for the artist's choice since we don’t normally see these characters on the votes. We’re going to have not one, but TWO full scale figures for the month of May instead of the usual minis + figure. You heard that right, two full scale figures with a bit of diorama to them! We are getting Etna from Disgaea and Curly Brace from Cave Story as the full size figures of the month!

I'll announce this again in a separate post for those that miss it as time gets closer, but just so you know, we will not be having a suggestion and vote round this month for May rewards as a result.

Side Stuff

Paint Contest

In case you haven't heard, we're gonna do another paint contest in July. I'll have more details and an official post about it next month so you guys have more time to paint/participate this time around. I realize last contest was a bit on the shorter side for some contestants, so I want to make sure we do it better this time! Keep an ear out for more next month.

Aside from all that, if you guys have any other questions or concerns, or just general feedback, don't hesitate to shoot me a DM or touch base in discord! My doors are always open (except when I'm sleeping of course :p )

Thanks as always,

Jiggly
