The red definitely gives it a more apocalyptic/end times vibe, which I think really works for the story and also ties really well into the whole Malibu is Burning album. I do really like the purple though 😭 but I think red is the stronger narrative choice.

the red tint is soooo cool it really emphasizes the emotion. however i do love the reflections in the purple they are both good but i was immediately drawn to the red when i saw them next to each other

I feel like the red shows that something is definitely wronggg in the storyline and just matches the vibe (or what I think the vibe is gonna be) But I also like the purple one cause it matches the overall colour scheme you’ve established to be very heartstrings
