I'm bad at interpreting the art itself, in an analytical sense (never really trained in it) but the writing here is so juicy. Isi's first response being "and cut off my hair?" It's a joke, and she does clearly appreciate what it means for Ro to offer it... But it also shows how Ro isn't actually fully seeing what Isi actually wants. Velvet Crowbar, the person Isi was then--it wasn't any better a fit than who Isi is now. Arguably less well-fitting, given how Isi has acted so far. ...and is it really working for Ro? Doing the same thing for decades? Falling into the same habits. Quitting drugs usually means breaking a lot of the structures surrounding that drug use. Velvet Crowbar, at least as it is, kinda seems like one of those structures.

I don’t know about all that. We’ve seen some slight spoilers from the art and goodies we get where Isi is wearing a pink, red, black and white heart and plaid outfit with a heart guitar performing next to Ro so either she is definitely rejoining the band or at least doing a collab with them. They are very different people from when they were last in the band together and I can sorta see where you’re coming from with Ro and quitting drugs by breaking a lot of structure but she clearly wants to get help for herself and now that she is in a relationship she is very serious about with Isi and before that relapse was 3 months clean so I think she could stay clean maybe she can either go back to the coke anonymous if that girl isn’t there or things finally get exposed about that pedo then the groupies will leave her alone. But for Isi rejoining I think she still holds on to so much guilt and doesn’t think anyone would want her back but obviously Sage doesn’t care and still loves Isi, I don’t believe at all that Eddy would still be mad and holding a grudge so it’s just autumn that isi has to meet (which I’m highly anticipating) and I think she could be happy and passionate again about making music with Ro and the others in the band.
