5 minutes in and it is clear that Liz has found a way to gatekeep lore she wrote from herself- unprecedented levels of supreme power

Bev Johnson

sorry there's a weird silence towards the end but skip forward to 35:08 for the last part!

Dee

I AM SO EXCITED to listen to those playlists later!!! Thank you for the delicious meal

eve_doodlyn

Everytime y’all laugh simultaneously, just know I’m also giggling and kicking my feet. You two harmonize when you laugh it’s adorable! 😂 Don’t apologize for laughing with your wife!

eve_doodlyn

“Ro is good with people” um? Is she? 😭

eve_doodlyn

Okay as a Mexican I’m glad you didn’t name Isi “Valentina” because it reminds me of a hotsauce we put on chips and things 💀

eve_doodlyn

I’m literally cracking up when Liz was like “you don’t even ask you just inform me” about Ro’s nipple piercings, please😭

Kaya

I feel like Ro is the kind of character that is very charming and draws people (girls :P) to her, so she is "good with people" in that sense, but she's so volatile and gutsy that she can easily make enemies, whereas Isi is much more measured and neutral in her interactions 😂 Anyway, thank you for these brilliant characters and for this Q&A 🩵

Kaya

Also, are Ro and Sage canonically Wasian? You two mentioned that their mom was with their dad (who is Japanese) and they were born in Japan, etc. There is also one panel I remember where it was stated they are "not white". I always assumed they were East Asian from the character design and stuff, but it would be interesting to know

Bev Johnson

haha yes that’s pretty much what i meant! she’s extroverted and outgoing more so than isi, but way more volatile

Bev Johnson

yea they are half japanese! i didn’t know that they were born in japan until liz told me hah but their dad was in a tokyo metal band

Flwr

We love deranged Q&A’s always

Bundrug

YAAYAYYA Q&AAA

Bundrug

Sorry I’m following along help

pinkquartz

when you brought up the ace attorney comparison i almost cheered

Dee

Hey I had to come back here to confirm, because I’ve been listening to the Ro’s CD for Isi playlist, but I don’t think you said! Did she ever GIVE the CD to Isi, or was it a “the moment passed” sorta deal??? I’m assuming she didn’t, but I have to know, because if I were Isi and Ro gave me that particular mix of songs with their context in mind I Do Not Think I Would Emotionally Recover 🪦

Dee

Which is a lot of words to say that playlist has wrecked me. It hurts good 👍💔

Bev Johnson

I'M not even sure if she did hahaha, but i'm sure she has made her a new mix by now!

late to the party but: Ro has to play roller derby in the sports AU for a skater/skater (and even roller skater/roller skater if Isi did artistic roller skating, the wheels version of figure skating) ship. and being openly gay and extravagantly punk with a killer derby name and violence on track. COME ONNNNNNN
