That’s why, even though I like the visual aspect of the Justine x Carina ship, I unfortunately don't really see them together especially since it’s more likely that Carina would just leave Isi (waiting for the comments attacking me).

Damn, finally someone who agrees with me most people still want Carina to be in a relationship with Justine, but honestly, looking at the dynamic, it just doesn't work for me. Especially since being with Justine would only drive Carina further away from Isi.

It would be so fucked if it was a paparazzi guy on so many levels, it would mean that Isi gets outed to the entire world because her manager didn't like her girlfriend??? I feel like lying about showing the studio her demo is one thing but this nah I can't see her keeping her job after a stunt like that.

I totally agree; that’s why, if Carina were with Justine, it would completely distance her from Isi which is also why I have no intention of supporting that relationship, even if I do like the way they look together.

Oh, but I love a morally grey character. Justine is making some questionable choices, but she's not seeing what we see with Isi and Ro. She's seeing a burnt out popstar going off the rails with a violent punk rocker who sings about arson. I really see justines vulnerability and conflict here, and I'm excited for the possibility of a redemption arc 💛

I mean the ship is obviously happening Bev and Liz want it to happen so I’m interested in seeing what they have planned and I don’t think Justine isn’t just going to keep doing shit like this and will get more development. The whole point of a story like this is to see the characters grow, change and evolve.

What are you talking about? Carina wouldn’t just leave Isi? She’s naive at times but isn’t completely stupid and even when drunk could pick up that Justine had other motives and was questioning why she sent her to find Isi.

yes, justine is an antagonist at this point in the story. she’s not supposed to be a sweet love interest like kiri or ro. carina represents the naïveté isi had at the beginning of her pop career; justine represents a path isi could walk down if she values success more than friendship/love

I totally get where you're coming from, but the Carina x Justine ship might unfortunately not work out well and it’s not just about the age gap, but the dynamic between them. Of course, I didn't mean to spread hate about the ship, but I think if Carina ended up with Justine, it would actually drive an even bigger wedge between her and Isi especially since Justine is already trying to split Isi and Ro up. That said, this wasn't meant as an attack on you or your idea, so if my comments came across that way, I am so sorry! ❤️
