I've seen so many webcomic/indie artists speaking out against people leaking pay walled work recently :/ I'm sorry you had to go through that it should be way less common than it is

Honestly? I get where you're coming from, because I know I’ve let myself get worked up more than once over ships or fandom matters it’s just because I love the comic and the characters so much. As for the ship of course, everyone has the right to ship whoever they want but in my opinion, Justine x Carina shouldn't be a long-term thing, given the behavior Justine has shown so far. Regarding fans just nodding along and agreeing with everything: I was partly against that, mainly because I write my own stories, fanfics, and AUs, and I plan to become a director in LA. I just believe everyone should have their own opinion, since blindly agreeing with everything isn't healthy. But as a creator, I hope you understand what I mean. Also, I want to apologize for the spoilers; I posted a story yesterday inviting people to check out my Carisi Au, so if that came across the wrong way, I’m sorry I really hope you understand where I’m coming from❤️

I’ve also spoken up in defense of you and the art created by you and Liz, since a few Heartstrings fans have already used AI on your artwork. Naturally, I value your work and will always protect it from things like AI especially given that AI is now taking jobs away from artists and even creating movies, like the Alvin and the Chipmunks example.

thank you! I just don't want you to assume that a ship is canon or long-term just based off a few pages; I post only a few pages at a time, so even patrons aren't seeing where every plot line will go, and I'd rather everyone see how things progress. even still, some people like toxic yuri and might like ships that are not healthy, which is fine. of course it's fine to disagree on plots, but Liz is writing and I really respect her decisions. I don't need everyone to blindly agree with me or Liz, but please trust us to write our own characters.

Damn, I feel guilty sometimes for using already released art as a covers for my private/made for my girlfriend(s) playlists .. I noticed this happening to a lot of artists in various mediums, I contribute to artists I like because I want to support them, because I know how tough it is having to pick and choose between something you love and being able to afford it keep your lights on Will definitely be keeping an eye out for images I recognize on Patreon on other platforms that aren’t posted by your official pages.

I know I might have sounded harsh back then, but I have a lot of respect for character archetypes; besides, if you ship Carina and Kiri, you can always write an AU on AO3. I’m currently writing about Carisi and have plans for Carina x Avery, though I’ll always support IsiRo as the canon pairing.
