Early Liam (Patreon)

As you can see, Liam looked quite different in early development. This was done very early, back in 2020 I think. I wanted him to be bigger and more attractive in his own way. Dare I say, even sexy. I had to figure out how far to go with his, “bullness” but still be able to show emotion and, hopefully, readers would care for him. The Laqueus Amulet has been 4 years in the making. Most of that time was spent on character design. I worried that the pace of the story might put people off. But I honestly wanted ample time for character development. And, of course, maybe even grow attached to some of them.

No horns and his ears were wrong. I didn't know what I wanted back then.
