Page 118 will be uploaded sometime tonight. I hope everyone is doing well.
There is a scene coming up that, at this point, I am still considering deleting. I probably won't, because of the ties in the story later on. Mainly because of the comments some of you introduced me to on certain sites.
The thing is, I've decided to stop worrying about plot lines for this story that I think some people might have issues with.
Keep in mind that I wrote this over two years ago with little intention of moving forward with it. The scope of it seemed too daunting. But, I mean, what else do I have planned?
I've been a professional artist for decades. One thing I know for sure is that if you open your work to criticism, you'll get criticism. The dreaded "So, what do you think?" is the last thing a creative mind should ask anyone. Personally, I believe art, music, and writing are 100% subjective. You will NEVER please 100% of your audience. That’s an impossibility. For example, I hate modern art with a passion that burns deep in my soul. But does that mean it has no substance for others who see value in it? Without a doubt, it does for some, and that makes it true for them. I hate country music, but that's just my personal preference, yet I understand there are some amazing musicians in that genre. And lastly, not afraid to admit that I did not enjoy the movie Titanic. I had hoped it would be more historical, rather than a made-up love story.
There will be parts of this story I’m pretty sure people will have issues with. Hot topics seem to be the dynamics of top versus bottom and size differences. My dive into this debate feels endless. There are strong opinions on both sides, each claiming their view is the right one.
