Novolvion is not as long as the last few stories I've done. Half the size, really. Depending on its popularity, I will think about carrying on with a follow-up. It is experimental, requiring a bit of a stretch of the imagination. It is alien, however. A story derived from a fever dream, perhaps.

I was sorta bummed while watching The Orville. There is a race derived from purely male. They, too, came up with the idea that eggs were laid by the "bottom male," which made some biological sense, but then ruined it by suggesting they had a female sex as well. This confused me. Biologically, the "Moclan" males wouldn't have ever needed a female to reproduce if males alone could do so... These are the things I think about when watching shows or movies. Sad, I know. My husband wishes I had a bit more suspension of disbelief. But to me, it was a copout, since this was introduced later in the series due to some outside pressure. I don't know if that's true, just a feeling.

Not saying this story is even close to The Orville storyline, far from it. But I do have an all-male alien species to create and answer questions.
