This is a milestone for me. I feel good now that I'm moving on to more exciting things. As the story FINALLY starts to ramp up and the pieces start falling into place. It's a milestone because of the number of pages in Illustrator.

You should be happy to know that there are just two more blocks like this until the story ends. Filled with violence, SEX, new characters, big beasts, giants, and... well... wait and see.

It's been 5 years in the making! Not really sure why I started this when I knew I was never to do another Kickstarter for as long as I live! A friend of mine suggested Patreon. To be honest, I was scared. Knowing that if I started, I absolutely needed to finish.

It turns out that this has become my safe space. At least here, I know you might appreciate what I'm doing. I'm also aware of how toxic people can be. Hate for my work always tends to say I am lazy for using 3d models as a base.

Here is Liam's .obj file. You can import him into any 3d program (SEE BELOW). I use BLENDER, which is free to use. I also use Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate for painting, layout, and backgrounds.

So, I spent over a year on just 3d models of ALL characters. Why? Well, I loved the continuity. As an artist, drawing these characters without 3d references would be too daunting for me. It is still an incredible amount of work that goes into one single image. And for the time being, it's still fun for me.

By the way, I love astronomy. I have an 18" computerized telescope and spend a lot of hours studying the night sky. Odd comment? Liam has no choice but to fight the great hunter when the sun falls below the horizon.

Laqueus is a Latin word primarily translating to "noose," "snare," or "trap".
