Lush curtains of lichen, salal sprouting everywhere. Moss seems to blanket every available surface. The sound of water rushing somewhere not too distant. Light grey skies and a gentle breeze. You can hear birds all around you, but you can't see them. Everything is bustling and alive. It's comforting.
