I love that blue-green glacial water color. 

And yes, this is a political comment too. Change has come quickly and decisively throughout the last four years, in part because people are historically attuned to what happens in the federal government. Now that we have the promise that the next four years won't be like reality TV, I worry that people will stop paying attention and the progressive causes we've fought for will shift back to their glacial pace. 

I'm not done arguing for the abolition of police, prisons, ICE, and deportations. I'm not done paying attention to the systemic racism and classism in our government. I hope we'll all keep fighting for universal healthcare, for housing for everyone, for government investments in green infrastructure and regulations on industries that bring our carbon emissions down. There are so many critically important but wonky policy goals that need our voices behind them to push them through Congress and across the President's desk, and I hope you're all with me in continuing to push.
