I wonder how many years it will take for this whole snowshed to crumble. Construction began on these concrete snow sheds in October 1910, but I can't find a date of completion. It's eerie to look at these century-old photos of places I've stood in the last year, contemplating how far we've come. Someday this whole area will once again be unrecognizable. 

Today is Earth Day. The Biden Administration pledged that the US will cut its emissions by 50% by 2030. I'm trying to imagine how those changes will play out in my daily life, and how I can significantly reduce my own emissions. There's definitely more to come on this topic.
