I love the textures created by bubbles and cracks in the lake ice

this was my first weekend in Mammoth of the 2020/21 season. This is my last weekend before my return to Seattle, and Mammoth looks summery and gorgeous. I'll miss this place, and I'm already looking forward to my return next fall. 

According to the Native Land app, the Mammoth Lakes area is the land of the Numu (Northern Paiute), Western Mono/Monache and Eastern Mono/Monache.
