this might be the biggest, most complex project I've ever undertaken. just the research, design, and cost sheet, will take me days and days.

as I've mentioned earlier, one of my goals for 2022 is to buy a Ford E-Transit Cargo Van and build it out into something I can live in- while consuming little to no fossil fuels. (well, that's the goal. electrical stuff is really expensive, so I may resort to propane for heat)

ideally, in the lead-up to buying & building it, I want to post updates here 1-2 times per month. once I've bought it & am beginning the building process, I want to post weekly (or more updates) here- so you can expect a change in the style of my page here as this project progresses.

everything van related will be going under the van dreams tag to make it easy to filter for, and much of it will be patrons' only.

this rough draft concept was illustrated by me in SketchUp - car seat & sink faucet symbols were not created by me, and are available through the program for free.

and blessing my ears & informing me about the history of our electrical grid is this podcast from NPR's Throughline, "The Electrical Grid (2020)" (be warned, it does contain graphic descriptions of deaths from electric shocks, including the country's first execution by electric chair- and the animal testing they used to develop it)
