Hi All,

Today I am happy to present Walnut Hollow - a halfling's manor.

I always loved the idea of a home in a hill and rarely see any maps for them. Adventures into them have long been a part of my personal campaigns and I am pleased to bring you one today.

Walnut Hollow is a scene consisting of 3 main levels - Cellars, Living Quarters and Hilltop. A warm, welcoming abode, this house includes kitchens, bedrooms and parlours. It even has a secret ladder out one of the chimneys!

Being a halfing's home, I'd imagine most regular sized adventurers would struggle navigating the low roofed building - banging their heads on beams and lanterns, squeezing through the round doors. It is truly a place where small PCs will shine.

Those of you using foundry will find that curtains are openable and wall candles snuff-able (as well as the fireplaces) with a simple double-click. This also works for elevation changes where the ladder icon exists. A new addition that I really like is the overhead mantles, that hide the inside of a fireplace until a token ventures onto it. A perfect place to hide something. Be sure to check the journal notes for tips and explanations!

RuinWorks - Walnut Hollow

Welcome to RuinWorks' Walnut Hollow - Halfling Home. Shown here in FoundryVTT, Walnut Hollow is meant to be a Halfling's Manor, a house of rounded halls, chimneys and a well stocked cellar. The maps themselves could be used in any VTT or even for TTRPGs. If you enjoy this or my other work please take a look at my patreon page at https://patreon.com/ruinworks. Maps for this scene were created using: Software: Dungeondraft Assets: Forgotten Adventures (https://www.forgotten-adventures.net) - art assets Tom Cartos (https://www.patreon.com/tomcartos) - art assets The scene itself uses various free modules from: Library: Scene Packer (https://www.patreon.com/blairm) - lots of support and help for making modules theripper93 (https://www.patreon.com/theripper93 | Levels, Better Roofs) - allows elevation changes and different floors ironmonk (https://www.patreon.com/ironmonk | Monk's Active Tile Triggers) - allows triggers on tiles (double clicks etc) for many use cases. For those of you new to the modules Better Roofs, Levels and Monk's Active Tile Triggers, I suggest watching the excellent tutorials from Baileywiki (https://www.patreon.com/baileywiki) on youtube. That's where I started and he runs you through the modules and how to use them clearly and concisely. That's where I learned!
