September Legacy Print (Patreon)

Kokabiel, Angel of the Stars

Anyone pledged at the $30+ tiers will receive a signed copy of a new print every month. These Legacy Prints are sold out in the online store and are only available online through this subscription program. Each print is full bleed 12x18 on luster photo paper, signed by Peter Mohrbacher in gold paint. They are identical to the ones sold at conventions.The subscription deadline is September 30th.

The voting for this month was really close but Kokabiel, Angel of the Stars won out. 

The prints will normally ship each month around one week after the deadline ends. We launched this program at a bit of a bad time since I was out of town just as the deadline for Eistibus finished. Those prints are shipping in a few days. Sorry for the delay, I hope no one was made overly anxious!

What if I already have this print? (from meeting you at a convention)

That's an issue I don't have a plan for! Considering that these prints are the most popular designs from the series, there are bound to be repeats for those of you who have bought prints at conventions. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'd love to work it out.

I also have no idea how to best manage this if there's a large subset of Patrons that this affects - however, if there's only a handful of people that this affects, perhaps those people could get another print instead? Tough to say because then those people would want all totally different prints. Perhaps the voting process could be different: the top 2 prints are offered (each person picks 1 of the 2). These are just ideas I'm throwing out there!

Considering that the choice comes from a community vote, the majority of those receiving it would theoretically be those who want it (assuming that everyone voting are also those who are backing at this level). Maybe like Zhou said, people can opt for a secondary one if they already have the main one?

I'm always for taking care of you guys, so I think we'll work something out. The biggest hurdle is organization. A major reason why this is structured to only offer a single design is because just in the first month alone, there are 122 prints being mailed out. Considering that Patreon doesn't associate packing lists with shipping addresses the way our store does, individualizing rewards is hard. We can swap out one or two if you email Matt (mohrbacherart@gmail.com) but that's not scalable and not in the spirit of the program. I've been wanting to start offering a credit program soon too, so we might be able to create a ledger for Patrons who want to skip rewards in exchange for store credit down the line. If that sounds good, also email Matt.

Yup, I suspected it would be tough to scale for more than a handful of Patrons - I'm actually all for the store credit option personally. It would help me get some other stuff I've always wanted (playmats!). I'll email Matt about that. Thanks Pete 💙

was this the first month for the Legacy Print? I just signed up on Sep 29th, almost missed out on the Koko print....Just wondering if I missed any ones...

I pledged for this back on the 29th but haven't had a charge to my credit card yet, does it normally take this long? Want to make sure I don't miss out on this print.

Im right there with you Trent..I also subbed on the 29th and no charge yet....Anyone know how long til the card is charged? And I think as long as we got in before Sep 30th, we're fine. Of course they would honor what they said......Im just really happy we have this opportunity to get these prints this way....THANKS! Its appreciated, sincerely...
