I'm drawing on my experience with the dust at Burning Man for this piece. It brings back some amazing memories to think about the playa.

Ooh this is looking super promising : D I feel like I'm at a crucial moment in my "art life" making a lot of changes, trying to go for a more painterly look, and watching your process and your full res pictures are helping me a lot! I never realized how much time I wasted working at 100% even 200% on useless details until I saw your work in real size!

Yeah, getting everything resolved when things are loose makes the process go way faster and smoother. I will get pretty tight with details sometimes, but not until the very very end.

But you also prioritize it greatly, which I really need to force myself to do: yes the face is important, no that tiny cloud in the left corner is not XD
