I took a second lap on this piece since after I made a couple of test prints. After getting some space from it (again), I was able to make some changes that I'm really happy with. Now, I'm going to be able to produce prints that I'm really confident in.

This was a huge learning experience, so I'm really glad I made it. Now it's time to get back to some angel paintings. Progress on Dumah will return shortly.

I'm uploading all the rewards for this piece right now, so please check the download links a couple posts back to get access to them.

It's impressive how much more refined this version is compared to the prior 'final' version. I particularly enjoy the subtle reflection in the void. It makes the gate feel even more grandiose.

Per your request, I am choosing to be a more active follower in discussions. I wholly agree with Jim's comments. I would also like to add that the increase in contrast of the spiky rocks on the right, as well as the floating obelisks helps create some reference for how big this gate is by creating a stronger sense of depth. The cloud river at the bottom is also grabbing my attention a lot more than previously, it seems more intentional now that it is more refined. Glad you took another look at this piece.

Thanks Jim! The difference really shines through in the print especially.

Thanks Dan :) I can't leave a piece in a place where I'm not at 100% with it. Thankfully, you guys let me do that!
