Hello my beloved friends!

So here it is, my new book nook!!!

I am still experiencing with this type of print/project and i must admit it is quite challenging.

But slowly i find my marks and i feel more comfortable with the lighting and how to work around it.

This one is a classical crime scene. A nice book nook to place between your criminal and horror story books.

It can be illuminated with some light strips, but i have included a second top cover, with a large cutout, to use the book nook without lighting and only with natural light.

The project is almost support free. You just need a few supports on the left brick wall, for the wire channel. Supports on built plate only. Really easy, and its not something apparent once the assembly is done.

All the other parts are support free and, as usual, are already placed in the right orientation.

YOU DON'T NEED A MULTICOLOR PRINTER FOR THIS PROJECT.

All the multicolor parts are made with color changes at the right layer. Its something any printer can do. The color changes will depend on the layer height you have choose to print your parts.

FOR THE BAMBULAB OWNERS:

A complete project file is included. With the color change already set. BUT the color changes are not painted, they are by layers and you will see them when you slice the plate.

I have also included some wiring instructions. Like i said above, i am not yet a lighting professionnal, lol. So probably my tips and instructions for the lighting could be better. It may not be the best to do the wiring too. So feel free to make any changes and experiment with your own products/ways of assembling them.

As usual, complete instructions are included, with exploded views.

I hope I haven't forgotten anything. In any case, if you have any kind of questions, feel free to ask!!! I will be pleased to help you as much as i can!

Have fun my friends!

I cannot find the instructions for the lighting... am I missing it somewhere?

PA1 MAKER

My bad, looks like they didnt transfer in the zip file. Everything should be ok now. You will find a folder called "wiring" in the instructions. Sorry for that!

PA1 MAKER

Really? That's great! Have you ever met him?

Kiara Ortiz Navarro

Yes, earlier this year at a car show in old town Maine. He doesn't live in Bangor anymore his house is now a museum but yea cool stuff I saw the books and I had to mention it.

I wasn't telling my husband what this book nook was, he said he thought he knew, but he has just taken the outline of the body piece of my plate and said its not what he thought. I asked him what he thought it was and he said the Ghostbusters Fire Station, which made me think that this would make an awesome book nook.... x

Joyce Carter

I just want to say that I absolutely LOVE these book nooks. I will have to make this one, as I have a Criminal Justice background, and my husband is a retired police officer and criminal investigator.

Parfait pour les amateurs de polar ! Je commentais en anglais mais au vu des livres, le français doit être votre langue maternelle cher PA1 🤗

PA1 MAKER

Hello friend! I love the idea! I will make some research to find some details about the GhostBusters Fire station interior! Thanks a lot for this great suggestion! 😁

PA1 MAKER
