Hello my beloved friends!
I am very pleased to present you this evening this new fairy house model! A cute and delicate watering can!
For the first time of my life, i have made my final print with a rainbow filament. Not because i don't like rainbow filaments, but because all the tests i did in the past were deceiving. Bad gradient in the print... Color change way too long for my type of print..... Bad filament quality... etc...
Until recently, when i found this quick color change filament from Eryone. And i am really happy with the end result.
Although I would have liked a change of colors on the lid, I am very happy with the final result.
Little tip if you take a rainbow filament; Print the watering can and then the lid one after the other so that your gradient continues in the lid.
Again, this is a really simple project.
No supports are needed and all the parts are already placed in the right orientation for printing.
You will need good settings for your overhangs but nothing really complicated!
A complete Bambu Lab project file is also included!
The edge is printed with Fuzzy skin if you wanna achieve the same result as my pictures. Fuzzy skin settings: Skin point distance: 0.5mm, Skin thickness 0.3mm.In the bambulab project file the fuzzy skin is already set by object.
As usual, complete instructions are included in the zip file.
WHAT'S NEW WITH THIS FAIRY HOUSE:
IMPORTANT: There is a small change in my way of designing the fairy houses. Thanks to the members who asked for this modification. Its a much better way to do it!
Rather than having a window and a glass to glue behind, the glass and the window are now in one piece. You start with a transparent filament, and you make a color change in white once the window layer has passed. All you have to do is simply do a color change at the right layer and it will save you from traces of glue in the windows! If you are not familiar with color changes, send me a private message and i will help you.
So that's it my friends! Have fun and keep printing!!!
