Hello friends!

Here's the little project i was talking about in my last post! Its a cute spooky halloween cauldron, illuminated with a battery operated tealight. The project is quick to print and it can be used as a desktop model or (with the version 2 of the handle) it can be used as a hanging decoration just like a mini lantern.

I have include a few instructions, because on this design i had a major concern: Being able to glue the parts together without putting glue stains everywhere on the lens or inside the cauldron. So the assembly is super easy, but you need to know one or two things which are explained in the instructions.

As usual, everything prints without supports and all parts are already placed in the right orientation for printing.

You will need a good bed adhesion for some parts, like the lens and the handles. But nothing very tricky.

For a nice effect, i suggest to use a matte an opaque filament for the cauldron itself.

Also, slow down on your exterior wall speed to prevent any defects on the face of the cauldron. 50mm/s is a nice speed for this type of project. But only on your exterior walls. ;)

You will need a battery operated tealight, which can be easily found in any dollar store or on Amazon.

In any case, if you're experiencing some troubles with the files, send me a private message and i will help you as much as i can, like i always do!

I hope you like it although it is super simple!

Have fun my friends, keep printing!!!

That’s awesome

These are great. Now we need a larger functional bucket like this for the kids to use while Trick or Treating. 😁

i do some of them on my A1mini and Qidi X plus 3, they look like amazing, just got a little issue one both printer with the top of the mouth, i think it's because of the little bridge, and i get a line visible

Does anyone else get an error when trying to slice the broth? I can’t get just that file to work in Cura. Everything else slices fine
