Hello friends! It's me again! :)

Yes... I did it... Another option for the famous Gingerbread Train is now available! The Tanker or Tank Car if you prefer!

Filled with hot chocolate and topped with a delicious cookie, it goes perfectly with the rest of the train.

The goal is to give you more options and more variety so that everyone can build the train of their dreams. Not to create a 10-meter-long train!

The files have been added to the original gingerbread train zip file, which you can find here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/let-magic-begin-93978980?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

That being said, the project is almost identical to the other train cars. Complete instructions are included, but honestly, the most experienced among you could assemble it without any of them.

No supports are required. All the parts are already oriented correctly for printing.

As usual, color changes are required and don't require AMS. Just simple color changes at the correct layer. Something you can do on any 3D printer.

A Bambu Lab file is also included. As usual, the color changes are already set, but by layer and not painted. Therefore, you must slice the plate first to see the applicable color changes in the preview window.

Otherwise, it's like all the other train cars. Simple, same type of procedures and assembly.

Just pay attention to the orientation of certain parts (it's indicated in the instructions) and make sure your bridge settings are effective and properly adjusted.

So there you have it!

I hope you have fun and please, keep posting your creations on the Facebook group! I love seeing your projects even if I don't have much time to comment. It's pure joy for me to see my models end up in the homes of so many people around the world for Christmas!

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!

But I wanna make a 10 meter long train….with LOTS of different cars! 😁

I thought I wanted just a regular Christmas village, but now my new dream in life is to have a whole gingerbread village with a 10 meter long train.

Lori

Love it!! I will be printing long after Christmas to catch up on all the gingerbread pieces. Once again thank you for sharing your amazing designs!

Fine Ordering in more filament!

Oups , I was just happy to find the spot ( 120 cm ) to put the train ... with this one it's dead and too short ; hahaaaaha . Small remark , for such cases , adding the new stuffs in the same zip is fine , but why not having a link to a zip of each publication ?

Mattis Matters and More

I kinda second that... I can add it to the folder myself in the saving... maybe have both options available for newbies and seasoned collectors?? Just a thought.

I understand , I started the train 2 years ago , and I do not have the same copper silk filament , neither the same green :(

sorry if I missed the anser to this question but if i build the big train and want to add the tanker can you let me know the scale I should go up to?

Thank you! I have to say I have really been enjoying building your models more than you could know, please keep this feature. It’s almost zen like but with the train it’s a bit different because my dad really loved trains a lot. He passed away a couple years ago and I know he would have loved these. For some reason I hesitated initially printing the train and everything that goes with it but this Christmas I will begin the journey to print, assemble, and make a special display while remembering my dad. I am going to print another train and take it to Andersonville National Cemetery and leave on his headstone Christmas Day. The cemetery doesn’t allow things other than flowers on and around plots and I know it will be picked up by park rangers the next day but I also believe a smile will pass from me, to my dad (and mom and baby brother buried with him), and then to someone who will appreciate it in the museum. Thank you again for such great models and sharing your talent. Happy Holidays

Hello Terry! This is one of the most touching and beautiful things I've read on my Patreon in recent years. And I've been feeling so much the same way these past few weeks. As many of my followers know, on December 28th of last year, I lost my beloved mother. So, this holiday season is particularly difficult, I must admit. What few people know, however, is that last year's nutcracker was made for her. Because she absolutely adored nutcrackers. I worked hard on that model. I made it for her, I wanted to show it to her at Christmas, and in all the excitement of the holidays, I completely forgot. She passed away three days later, without me being able to show her the model I had created especially for her. This is something that will stay with me forever, this feeling of having "missed my chance," and reading your story confirms that perhaps I should do the same thing and place his nutcracker in the cemetery, so it's near my mother, for whom I created it. Thank you very very much for this beautiful and touching story. It's wonderful to know that my prints aren't just pointless objects, and that for some, they're an integral part of a story, a magical moment. ❤️❤️❤️ Happy holidays to you too, my friend, and take care of your loved ones and yourself. Pascal, unless I am mistaken, in the stl files for the tanker, both the tank and the tanker end part the colors are reversed. The biege should come after the green. I could be wrong. Happy New Year and have a great 2026.

Ronn

Is there a way you can make the tanker hollow? maybe have a swing door and stuff it with candy canes or just leave it hollow?

Ronn

I got that I was just wondering if you ever thought about making the tanker hollow you quicker print
