Hello friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!

First of all, I'd like to wish you all a wonderful and happy New Year, and may it bring you happiness, health, and success in your projects!

My year got off to a rather rough start, with, as I mentioned at the end of December, a nasty cold which was followed, much to my dismay, by 10 days of influenza... And I have to say, this one was really rough. It's been a long time since I've been this sick!

Anyway, I'm almost back on my feet, and we're starting this year with a new fairy house! A cute little love shack!

As you might have guessed, it was all inspired by the upcoming Valentine's Day, and like the other fairy houses, it can be illuminated with a simple battery operated tealight to give it a lovely cozy and romantic atmosphere!

Now let's see what there is to say about this charming little design!

Like all my fairy houses, it's a simple design to print and assemble. I usually do my best to make it completely free of supports, but this one requires a few on the body of the house as well as on the roof. These aren't mandatory supports, but they greatly improve printing, especially if your printer struggles with bridges.

As is often the case with fairy houses, some parts require fuzzy skins. This is clearly indicated in the part names, and my fuzzy skin settings were as follows:

- Fuzzy skin: Contour

- Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.2mm

- Fuzzy skin thickness: 0.2mm

These are, of course, just suggestions; feel free to use other settings if you wish.

Other parts will require color changes by layers. This is a simple operation that any printer can perform. If you're not familiar with this, I encourage you to do a quick search or create a post on my community page.

Another small but important detail about this design: There's a small rug on the porch with the text "welcome" on it. I've done several tests with different settings, and most of the time everything comes out well. But if, unfortunately, the letters come out a bit sketchy, simply use ironing on the last layer only. This will smooth out the letters and the heart, making them look practically perfect.

That being said, the rest is identical to all my fairy houses. The pieces are already oriented correctly for printing, a Bambu Studio file is included, and the settings are already applied within it. Complete instructions are included as usual.

Remember: in the Bambu Studio file, color changes are already applied layer by layer. Therefore, you must slice the plate first to see the color changes in the preview window.

Well, that's it, I think I've covered everything that needs to be said!

I'll be back soon with an update on upcoming projects, my vision for 2026, and a new project already underway!

Stay tuned and have fun, everyone!

Pascal

Glad to hear you're on the mend - this year's flu has properly floored people here in the UK, including me for a fortnight. It's a nasty one! This "little old place where we can get together" fairy house is simply gorgeous. 😍 What a start to 2026! 🙌🏻 Happy new year to the both of you.

Love this and almost have all the parts printed but I am having a real issue with the door and not being able to set the colors right. I have printed quite a few of your items that are by layer and didn't seem to have this problem. No matter what combination I try it will only use 2 out of the three that this is set by. I'll chalk it up to use error and keep trying. Just wondering if it is me or other people have the same issue.

The last layer is white and the last pause is almost at the end of the part. Not much white used

I fixed it by repainting the clear by layer then just did edge fill on the other 2 and came out fine.
