Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well!
Tonight, I'm presenting a little Easter or spring fairy house, whichever you prefer!
The last two weeks have been very rough. I've been sick like I haven't been in a long time. Let's just say this winter hasn't been very kind to me in terms of the flu, and the one I had these past few weeks almost turned into bronchitis. As someone who's usually quite tough and doesn't easily catch the flu, I have to admit that this winter has been very intense in that regard, and I sincerely apologize.
That being said, the important thing is to be back in top form and ready to deliver beautiful designs to you, like this one, which was highly requested by many of you. Since the demand was so high, I preferred to prioritize this one over another egg. There was already a carrot in the fairy house collection, but it wasn't illuminated and it was smaller in proportion.
This one is closer in proportion to the fairy houses of recent years, can be illuminated with a battery-powered tealight, and is intended to be a completely new design.
I've completely redesigned everything to include a base, elements typical of other fairy houses, and a beautiful contrast in the carrot's lines when lit.
The design is super simple to print; however, I recommend printing the main piece (the carrot) with supports. The inside of the top is a curved overhang, and if you want to ensure everything prints perfectly the first time, I highly recommend internal supports for the roof.
Aside from that detail, everything else is very similar to all the other fairy houses. All the pieces are positioned in the correct orientation for printing. The filenames are coded by color, quantity, and fuzzy skin where necessary. And some pieces require color changes per layer. (The windows and the door)
One small difference from the other fairy houses: The leaves are printed flat on the bed, and you need to bend them using a heat source, just like in the first version. Nothing too complicated, and it's easily done with a heat gun.
A Bambu Lab file is also included, with all the necessary settings already configured. Remember: Color changes are set by layers! So you absolutely must slice the plate first to see the color changes applied in the preview window.
For everything else, it's all in the instructions. Everything is well-detailed and easy to understand.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
I hope you have lots of fun and that you'll like this one as much as the first!
Have fun!
