Hello everyone!

With the end of the school year approaching, I thought I'd pay a little tribute to the teachers and other staff who work so hard in our schools and for our children!

Here's a great gift idea for your child's teacher for the end of the year, for a teacher you know, or simply for yourself, whether you're a teacher or not!

This little school-themed birdhouse is super easy to print and assemble! Assembly-wise, I think it's one of the simplest in my entire collection.

Beautiful details, few pieces to assemble, a sturdy construction, and endless color possibilities give this project a fresh, summery feel!

The entire project follows the same design principles as my other birdhouses:

-Printable on a mini printer.

-Two versions available: English and French.

-File names are coded by color, quantity, and settings where applicable.

-Only two parts require supports. And they are minimal. The baseplate needs them for the holes with counterbores underneath, and the roof requires one for the bell tower's recess. That's all.

-All parts are positioned correctly for printing.

-Some parts require color changes at the appropriate layers, but you don't need an AMS to do this; it can be done on any type of 3D printer. If you're unfamiliar with this, feel free to ask questions or request help on my Facebook community page.

-A Bambu Lab project file is included, with all the color changes, settings, and parameters you'll need. These settings are, of course, my preferences; feel free to change them if you prefer other settings for your prints.

Important: Remember that in the Bambu Lab file, my color changes are by layers, not painted. Therefore, you must slice the plate first to see the color changes applied afterward in the preview window.

HARDWARE:

You will need:

(4x) M3 x 10mm self-tapping screws.

(4x) M4 x 10mm self-tapping screws.

IMPORTANT: As I mentioned, the "School" sign comes in two versions: English and French. Choose the one you need and simply ignore the other. In the Bambu Lab project, both are included on the last plate; simply remove the one you don't need. I also recommend doing a little ironing on the top of the letters of the sign in order to have nice smooth and well-filled letters. This setting is already set by object in the Bambu Lab project file.

With that, I believe I've covered all the important details. If I've missed anything, please let me know!

I hope you enjoy this project as much as the others! Have fun, friends! I'll be back soon with more designs!

I’m glad you like it. We don’t customize any of the lettering. But you can do that on your own, directly in the slicer. There are many tutorials explaining how. You can also ask the question in the Facebook group. -C
