Good morning everybody!!Just finished this one yesterday, second version of a "Tooned birdhouse"! FEATURES:-100% support free-All parts are already placed in the right orientation-Large bottom door for cleaning between seasons-2 diameters of entrance included: 28.5mm, 32mm (1.125in, 1.25in)-Detailed exploded view to help you with the assembly-Big parts can be done with a layer height of 0.3 with no problem to speed up printing time.-Sturdy and strong design, with thick walls that won't deform overtime.

Be sure to have your bridge settings at "ON".

Watch for over extrusion. If you're having some fitting problems, simply sand gently the parts to help them fit together. But with a good calibration, everything should be fitting together very well.

FOR THE ROOF NUMBER 02: Two version are included. One vertical, one laying flat on bed. The one laying flat is the easiest one. The vertical one gives better printing definition and results. If you choose the vertical one, i suggest that you use paint-on-supports to add a line of supports at the back of the roof. Just to prevent vibrations and troubles...

FOR THE DOOR AND THE FRONT WALL: Use a color change to have the same result in the pictures. Few bricks on the wall are higher than the others and the door trim is also higher. So you can easily make a color change on the last layers of those parts.

All the rest is multi-part.

This one, due to its shape, is made to be mounted on its support, on a fence, a wall or a post. If you wanna hang it instead, try to figure out where the center of gravity is before drilling holes for the ropes. Center of gravity will change from one printing setup to another, so i didnt include pre-drilled parts like the other one.

If you choose to hang it, don't forget to seal the holes to prevent any water getting in.

If you have any problems, just send me a message. I will answer you as quick as i can!

Have fun!!!

I was looking for the Bambu files? I'm assuming this was before you started creating them?

Can someone explain what settings I change in Bambu to enable bridging? It doesn't seem to be as simple as turn on and when I google it, I don't see the same items under advanced?

Deedra Parrett

What kind of screws do I need to attach the bottom and mount?

Chris West

You’ll find that info on step 7.

Incredible design ! Can't wait to start printing one of these. Can I ask what type of glue you guys are using on PLA to secure all these parts ?

ThatGuyBearMan

FYI, depending on the item I use either a hot glue gun or if I need it to really stick I use loctite super glue.

I am using super glue. Curiously, the one that works better for me is the one from the dollarshop in my country. The brand is Adhaero Super Glue and its quite amazing. You can find it on amazon i think.
