A log cabin... Can't have more rustic than that. It screams nature, wildlife and amazing landscapes! Now you can have your own 10 feet away from your door! :p

The one on the pictures was printed with a 0.3mm layer height (main body, green base etc) and the small parts at 0.2mm. But i must tell you; its a long print! Because of the thickness of the walls, the round shape of the logs, its longer than the other birdhouses.

-Very few supports (only on top beam and chimnee)-All parts are already placed in the right orientation-Large bottom door for cleaning between seasons-3 diameters of entrance included: 28.5mm, 32mm, 38.5mm-Big parts can be done with a layer height of 0.3 with no problem to speed up printing time. (House body on the pictures was made with 0.3 layer height)-Sturdy and strong design, with thick walls that won't deform overtime.

Be sure to have your bridge settings at "ON".For the small parts, use 4 walls. This will make a stronger piece.

Watch for over extrusion. If you're having some fitting problems, simply sand gently the parts to help them fit together. But with a good calibration, everything should be fitting together very well.

Can be hang or wall mounted.

This one is very close to the limits of a prusa mk3s bed. It will be ok on a ender 3 bed, but for prusa owners i suggest that you double check all big parts. At least you can scale them down by 1% to help if necessary.

SCALES :100% - Will use m4 screws.75% - will use m3 screws.

If you choose to hang it, you have two holes provided on the top beam.

If you have any problems, just send me a message.

Again: Thanks to all of you for your support!!!

Have fun, and a nice day!

Printing it right now! Love this design!

I can see how that part would be misleading. What we mean is, there are instructions that separate the parts for each step so you can easily see what needs to be put where.

I don't see a 3mf file. Does this pattern not have one?

Chris West

The older designs do not. 3mf files weren’t really added until 2025. But all of the STL files are there so you can easily set up your own build plates and print profiles as you’d like. -Chris

Love this design! Any tips on supports or infill?

Quick question on the TOP BEAM. Part already oriented right/correct , but my slicer seems to want to try and print the perimeters for the holes closest to the middle in thin air...
