Hello my friends! Something different today! A nice educational model of a gearless mechanism with a 2:1 ratio.

A great way to understand motion principles. Or simply really addictive to play with! This may help you also in your different designs (if you do some) and make you "think out of the box".

This thing spins really really smooth!!! Almost no friction and very silent. I was reallly surprised how well it spins!!!

And like many of my models, its super easy to print!

Almost no supports, only on two parts and they are easy to deal with. The two parts needing supports (touching build plate only) are:

-front washer (for the top lip)

-Main base (for the counterbored holes)

You will also need:

-Two 19x6mm bearings

-7x m3x10mm screws (imperial 6-32 screws works too, holes are self-threading)

Detailed instructions included, with exploded views and part names.

If you have any questions, just ask. I will try to do my best to help you as usual!!!

Have fun!!! Take care of yourself! :) Pascal

I sure wish the bearings used would have been the most common size used which 608 bearings. I have a bunch of those from other projects and skateboard's.

The matching finger nail polish is an especially nice touch!
