Hello my friends! Just a quick post before going to bed, to let you know that i made another version for the top of the picnic table. This one is to accommodate 20oz condiment bottles usually found in the US.

Because of the size of those bottles, i had to reduce the number of cutouts in the top cause it was impossible to fit them all without enlarging the existing one. And because its already tight on a regular bed, i thought it would be better to have less holes and keep the same design for both versions.

The file was added to the dropbox, same place as the other files (picnic table condiment holder), and it is called "TOP FOR US BOTTLES".

Have fun! Good night! Pascal

I plan on just making two rectangular holes on mine to accommodate any bottle

Perfect timing!!! I only print the original top last night and was going to take it to the store to see if I could find bottles that fit!! This new top takes care of the issue now!!! Thanks for you great efforts!!!

Pascal, do you think you’d be able to make a version with indents on the bottom of the table and on the top of the table legs to fit magnets? This way you’d be able to swap out the tops for either table top depending how you need it.

Hi Brittany! I can have a look but its gonna be complicated i think, because of the small surface of those parts. Maybe with really tiny neo magnets... i will check that. But with the fit of the parts, you should be able to almost "snap" them together and being able to change the type of the top this way. But i will have a look at the magnet option in the next days. ;) Thanks for the input. :)

I will be back to you soon, Sorry for that.

I can easily add a hole in tinkercad. I’ll send you a remix soon. Where’s the best place to do that?

Pascal or anyone else - can/has anyone made little cups for the Larger bottles version of where the spices go? I don't really want to put spices there, but would love to put plastic forks and stuff like that. Thoughts??

PA1 MAKER

Hi Rick! I will have a look at this. 😉 I also got the idea (for the bbq) to make some new doors to make a napkin holder. Instead of flat doors, i will make some doors that look more like a "pocket" to put some napkins in it I will make the little cups at the same time for the picnic table! 😊

Need some help, using Cura and Ender 3 I have enlarged my build plate to 235 x 235, it still shows that the build plate is not big enough, ideas?

PA1 MAKER

Hi Ronette. Did you remove the skirt line? This may be the problem. 😉Should be good with no skirt, no brim.

Before I assemble the few that I have... do you think the original parts are all going to be used and assembled the same - even when you design the cups to fit in the holes as we talked about above? Thanks

Ronette Robinson

Thanks I will make sure that is taken care of

Were you able to make the little cups for the picnic table??

Just curious if anyone else is having issues with fitting the legs with the US table? Seems too tight of a fit. Usually all fits perfectly, but wanting to see if it's not just my printers. (tried on 2 different printers, same result.)

Ellie

I had this same problem! I just printed it and had to hammer a few pieces in, until some pieces just broke entirely. Pascal, do you have a few minutes to fix this? I absolutely love this model and I'd really like to make a few for my next show coming up.

Where Can I find the download link for this?

Bart

How do I find the dropbox to find this file?

Bart

Thank you...
