Hello everybody! I hope everyone is doing well!

Here's a brand new 1/64 diorama for the Hot Wheels lovers! The iconic KFC restaurant, with its latest trendy colors and up-to-date look!

I must say that this one was a bit of a headache and i have worked on it many hours in the last weeks. Finding the right size for the logo (the colonel Sanders), to get a nice and crisp print wasnt easy. I had to rework a lot of lines, many times, make multiple test prints and find the correct scale to allow all the lines to print well.

But i am really happy with the final result! Really!

There's a small drive thru window at the back, and its a functionnal one! The window can slide in an open position if you want, and this was quite a design challenge too! But beauty is often hidden in small details like this and i wanted to give it a try!

And it works! Really happy with that!

Just like most of my diorama, this one prints without any supports and all the file names are color coded to help you during the project.

Complete instructions as usual, in the form of exploded views.

Ams files included for Bambu Lab owners.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

-Everything is printable on a prusa mini (and bigger printers of course!).

-Follow the instructions carefully.

-Make a dry fit check first (without glue) to see how all the parts mate together.

-For the main building section, you have two options;

One building with cutouts for the side logo and wires at the back, if you want to put some leds in it.

The other one without cutouts, if you want to make a diorama without lights in it.

-For the logo (Colonel Sanders), you have also two files:

A single piece logo, which you can print with 2 color change to obtain the white/red/black logo. This is printable on any regular 3d printer with the color change command.

Another one for the AMS owners, all on the same layers, which is located inside the "Bambu Lab Files" folder. I have also included all three colors separately, if you want to play with the files and make some tests.

-In the Bambu Lab files, you'll also find the 3mf file for the complete project. NOTE: In the 3mf files, you'll find both logos already configured. Use the one you prefer. For the building, only the one with the cutouts is in the 3mf file, but you still have access to the one without cutouts in the individual stl files. Feel free to replace it if you want.

All the rest should be well indicated in the instructions.

In any case, if you have any problem, send me a private message and i will try to help you as much as i can!

Have fun my friends! I hope you like it!!! :)

You go above and beyond, not just on your designs, but also with the organization of your files. Breaking them down by color is very helpful. Then i go look at the "Bambu files" folder and you've got everything colored and on build plates!! I mean WOW! Thanks for ALL that you do!

Jake Flynn

I just checked and the Bambu file opens for me in the Bambu studio version 1.7.0.65. Hope that helps with the troubleshooting.

Jake Flynn

Yes that Bambu project file is the best! Really appreciate you putting that together!

Bambu Lab projects are for Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio only. They are specific files for the owners of Bambu Lab printers. (X1c, P1p, P1s)

I was just thinking what Denise has said! You really do go above and beyond! I don't really do hot wheels but want to build a village you have designed anyway!
