Last one for tonight my friends! 😝 Another Halloween project to add to your collection!

The Headless Horseman! What a classic for Halloween! So i decided to design this cool, easy-to-print diorama lamp, based on this mythical character.

The project is very similar to the Halloween Countdown Calendar. Same kind of design, with an optionnal light box at the back to put your favorite LED lights.

Because this one is a lamp only, i have included a keyhole at the back, so you can hang the whole thing on the wall easily.

As usual, i recommend to read the instructions carefully, and make some dry fit checks (without glue) to see how the pieces fit together.

HARDWARE:

You will need (5x) M3x6mm screws. M3x8mm screws (even 10mm) can work fine too.

Use at least 3 walls, but i strongly recommend 4.

All part are already placed in the right orientation, and the whole project is 100% support free.

For the bambulab owners, i have include a 3mf file for the whole project.

When gluing the pumkins, be careful with the stems. You have left and right version of those!

In any case, if you are experiencing problems with the file or the project, send me a private message and i will help you as much as i can! Have fun my friends! Hope you like it! 😄 Keep printing!!!Pascal

Holy cow this is another amazing model. This one will be next after I'm done printing everyone in my family the countdown model. I have 12 printers going so it won't be long. This one seems to be even simpler than the countdown model so it shouldn't take long at all. Thank you for another great model.

Are you just cutting lengths of led strips for these and soldering power supplies to them? I'm trying to figure out the best way to do the lights since I'm making between 8 and 10 of each of this one and the countdown calendar. Thanks

WOW Pascal! Another awesome model! FWIW, I can't print the Halloween calendar fast enough! (and the Boney "finger") Lots of requests from family/friends. Which brings me to this, any chance of something similar for a Christmas Countdown Calendar? (i know there's a star & barn one in the archives), but the silhouette presentation is amazing! Thanks for listening.

Hello Denise! Yep! I will make many of those for Christmas! It was requested a few times in the last days, and i'm already on the project. I will start to release them as soon as the beginning of October, so you will have plenty of time to print them and be ready for Christmas frenzy! 😊😊😊

Hello my friend! I use this kind of led strip, and i bend it like the first picture on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Light-Multipurpose-Lighting-Quilting-Crafting/dp/B013DHLHY4/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=small+led+strip&qid=1694968199&sr=8-7 I know there's more fancy methods, like a custom strip with soldering or strip connectors, but i am not good at all at soldering and the strip above is working perfectly for me. I will order those too in the next days, to make some tests and see if they are better. But they are a bit pricey: https://www.amazon.com/HitLights-Pre-Cut-Flexible-Changing-Connectors/dp/B07NWFVRY4/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=GV41AM8T5FX9&keywords=pre-cut+6in+led+strip&qid=1695565183&sprefix=pre-cut+6in+led+strip%2Caps%2C109&sr=8-4-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

These shadow boxes are great! Keep them up

Hello, I'm mounting the LEDs but have one doubt, did you use LEDs just in the bottom or all the way around? I glued only on the bottom but I don't know if this is the way to go. Thanks.

Francisco Gomes

Already found out that I need LEDs all the way around. It's almost done ;)

I'm curious what filament you used for the moon background. I thought I had the perfect color which is muted white from Polymaker but almost no light shines through it. I was really wanting that off white color. I'm about to just reprint it a little thinner to see if that will help. Any other suggestions?

PA1 MAKER

Hello my friend! I have noticed that all the Polyterra filaments are way more opaque compared to regular PLA. Probably because they are matte and the composition of the polyterra is different than regular PLA. I used a local house brand, which is 3DPrintingCanada house brand PLA, and the color is Ivory. https://3dprintingcanada.com/products/ivory-1-75mm-pla-filament-1-kg They ship worldwide, if you are interested... ;)

How have people installed the cob led lights? Only thing I can think of is to install with light stuck to top. Any help is much appreciated.
