Hello everyone!

Here's the latest addition to the Christmas fairy houses! The little gift!

At first, I wasn't at all convinced that the idea was a good one. Too conventional... Sometimes we start with an idea by underestimating its potential, and in the end we are completely in love with the finished product! This is what happened here. I totally love the end result!

Theoretically, this project does not require any support. On the other hand, the gift box, the main part of this model, requires bridges which can cause problems. Those in the ribbon cavities, near the printer bed.

If you don't want to take chances, put on the supports (bed only). Even if the surface in the cavity is not very pretty after printing, the ribbon will hide everything, so no worries about this.

As usual;

-All the parts are already placed in the right position for printing.

-Complete instructions included, with exploded views and details.

-Color coded file names with quantities and settings required.

-A 3mf file of the complet project is included for the BambuLab Owners with all the plates already configured.

-Can be use with a battery operated tealight (found in any dollar store)

Like i always do, i strongly recommend a dry fit check of each steps of the instructions (without glue). This will help you understand how the assembly is done and prevent any problems.

I will provide tomorrow an accurate list of the filaments i used in this project. But its mostly the same filaments as the other Christmas Fairy houses. I have reused almost the same colors in this project.

HO!!! I almost forgot! The little name tag with "home sweet home" on it is a bit of a torture test. It is really tiny (photo added) and don't hesitate to re-scale it a bit if you're having problem with it. The text is only 0.5mm wide, so it can be tricky!

If you are experiencing problems, or you have some questions, feel free to send me a private message at any time.

Have fun my friends! Hope you like it!

Have nice day! Pascal

You have to stop making these awesome files, I'm gonna run out of filament before Christmas 😜😂❤️

Good morning I’m also scaling up but I’m having trouble getting my pieces to fit without measuring is there an easier way to scale up

Hi Pascal. I use Prusa Slicer and when I try to open the .3mf file it gives me an error, do you have an idea why this could be happening? Thank you

Geek3designs

the .3mf files have been made for Bambu so maybe there are some issues when trying to open them with another program

Deborah Ortiz

Love how you organize your files for your Patrons. Great Pics included as well!!!!

Lewist09

Hi, we also need your giant snowflake. Thanks,

TheGoddster

You can find that free out on the internet

What fuzzy skin settings do you suggest? It says they are already set on for Bambu but they aren't selected on mine when I load the file. Thank you!

Hi Candi! You have to look "by objects" (not global) to see the fuzzy skin. If you have opened my 3mf file, select a plate where its supposed to be fuzzy skin, and slice it. You will see the fuzzy skin in the preview. The "global" mode, is the settings defined for the whole project. The "By objects" mode in the slicer, is to attribute specific settings to specific parts in the project. With the "By objects" mode, you can determine any kind of settings for each individual parts. e.g.; if you have 3 parts in the same project, on three different plates, you can define 3 different layer height, different speed and all the other settings part by part... This settings is in "Process" just below the filament in the left menu of the slicer. Select a part with fuzzy skin, click on "objects" instead of "Global" and you will see the fuzzy settings for this very specific part only.

Thank you so very much for the detailed explanation, I feel pretty daft now & appreciate you taking the time to respond.

fyi this one might not be in the christmas collection as it wasn't coming up in a search when I was looking in there.

I'm in love with this one, todays print I think 😍 I'm having a problem with the mug handle though it's not coming out smooth around the bottom where it starts to curve up any tips?

just copy the password, click the link to the saved files, paste the password into the password field. You can then hover your cursor over a file and a download button will show up or click on the large download button on the top for all of them
