A little background about this one....

At the end of last year, my final project for my AP U.S. history students was to make a parody song similar to the ones that I and Mr. Betts had made in the past. They could choose any topic from the curriculum and choose any song. I told them I'd turn the best one into a music video. Soooo here it is. This is also my first historical parody song in nearly two years. I used to do a lot more music, and I sometimes miss it. So I had a bit of fun with this one, and probably got carried away with the dancing.

For reference, here is the original RHCP video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr_uHJPUlO8

It's not school appropriate. :)

The Korean War (Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Give It Away" Parody)

Mr. Beat performs a cringeworthy parody of the Red Hot Chili Peppers hit "Give It Away" to attempt to teach you about the Korean War. Fun video! Great you can include your students in creative ventures. I wish I had a teacher like you when I took history!
